A. Assay on an As is basis refers to the measurement of the content of a substance in its original state, without any removal of water or other volatile components. This type of assay is used when the presence of water or other volatile components does not affect the accuracy of the measurement.
B. Assay on Dried basis refers to the measurement of the content of a substance in a material after the removal of water & other volatile components.This is often used in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries to determine the concentration of a particular compound in a sample
C. Assay on Anhydrous basis refers to the measurement of the content of a substance in a material after the removal of water only by KF Titration.
